Today in class a representative from our group made a large cumulative diagram linking all of the other topics in the class and what their commonalities are. What we determined was that social media is the main tool of influence that helps promote both their internal and external influences all over the world. It is so interesting to see how these groups big becasue of their usage of social media. Without it, their initiatives would essentially be nothing and over the course of these studio sessions that has become more and more clear.

This week was interesting because we began to group together and separate the different aspects that make the ISIS terrorist group so successful. What we ultimately determined was that social media, as made possible by the Internet, is what the ISIS movement, in all of its forms, is centered around.
