Grading

Your final project will be graded as follows:

  1. 40%: Weekly posts (articles) and completing the tasks as assigned in each studio, e.g. creating and tagging Diigo bookmarks. These simply need to be completed; you are not graded on quality of content.
  2. 60%: The final interpretive essay. This is graded as a traditional written assignment.

Weekly Reports

Each week after studio and before 5:00PM the next day (i.e. Friday), you are to write a report describing your experience in the studio session. To create your report, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Articles" tab and click on the link to create a new article. You must be logged on to create an article.
  2. Write about 200 to 400 words, i.e. a fat paragraph, about what you learned and discussed in your group. What caught your interest? What are you thinking about pursuing further?
  3. When creating the report, make sure you select "weekly report" in the TYPE field.
  4. Your report must be posted by 5:00 PM Friday, but better if early. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE WEEKEND; late reports will not be counted unless there is a good reason for the delay.
  5. To get full credit for the project, you must complete these reports.
